Bio
Discovering a love for music at the young age of 5, Adam’s journey began in small-town Wisconsin with private classical tutoring. In 2022, with a focus on studying jazz piano, he earned a Bachelors of Science in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Back on campus, Adam studied under Professor Johannes Wallmann while maintaining membership in several university ensembles, including his time as principal pianist for the UW Jazz Orchestra and assistant music director for the Wisconsin Singers. While piano is his primary focus, he has experience instructing and performing on both marimba & vibraphone (two or four mallet technique) and a variety of electronic instruments.
From classical beginnings to experimental jazz, his journey has included performances with drum corps, jazz bands, show choirs, and much more. Adam’s current mission as an artist aims to expand his knowledge and abilities as both a student and an educator, performing in Washington, D.C. and offering music lessons both virtual and in-person to the greater DMV area. With a love for collaboration and spontaneous creativity, jazz music has served as a beacon of inspiration in his music career. As a passionate soloist on stage, experienced accompanist, and enthusiastic learner, Adam continues to value a balance of entertainment and education to achieve a higher level of musicianship.
